The pages of this directory have been optimised for use with version 3.0 or greater of Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer, and are best viewed with your computer's display set to 16-bit (aka high color) or higher, and with your browser set to display images.
You can obtain the latest versions of either of these browsers by selecting the appropriate button.
Netscape 2.0: Netscape 2.0 is almost capable of displaying pages as they are intended to be seen; however, it cannot display colour backgrounds in table cells, and fails with certain character entities such as £.
Many pages in Gardening-uk also make use of Verdana and Georgia Web Optimised True Type fonts which are available free from Microsoft at: http://www.microsoft.com/opentype/iexplor/free.htm.
Please Note: Although you may be able to view the pages of Gardening-uk itself with other browsers, all of the hosted Catalogues require the use of a browser that can handle javascript. The use of javascript significantly reduces the size, and hence the download time, of many pages.
